Mas é claro que não, por dois motivos: Mangione não é pobre, a família dele tá no patamar que podemos chamar de burguês, embora não seja o patamar que comanda a política pública do EUA; Mas, principalmente pq a classe trabalhadora CLARAMENTE se identificou com as motivações dele. Matá-lo faria dele um mártir perfeito pra fazer explodir a indignação da classe explorada de forma incontrolável. Os representantes legais das classes dominantes sabem o que fazem pra apassivar a justa fúria dos trabalhadores.

O termo "Estado Totalitário" sempre foi profundamente criticado pelos marxistas, por inconsistências teóricas do termo (e seu mal disfarçado intuito de satanizar o conceito de Marx de totalidade). Porém, se todo Estado é, por definição, autoritário, por outro, a queda da máscara democrática no coração capitalista do mundo está sendo um evento pra se acompanhar com a máxima atenção. Tanto pelos rumos internos que isso pode tomar quanto sobre as consequências que podem repercutir sobre nós.
"Estado orwelliano" parece a melhor definição até agora; uma ditadura digital sufocante. E até agora os partidos comunistas brasileiros não acordaram para o que isso representa.

It is not Trump’s ICE we’re dealing with. It’s ICE. For something like 20 years now the Democratic Party has built this up. Terrorizing people of color is what they do.

Remember fall 2025. Notice again how *just enough* Dems voted to bolster the DHS. It seems clear that more (perhaps many) in the party are happy with kidnapping and murder. Select members took on criticism in order for Congress to say 👍 to more.

This appears to be wha is called the “rotating villain strategy”.
