I'm proud to release my first public app for #GNOME: Stencil, a powerful file renaming utility. Written in Rust and using #GTK4 / #libadwaita. I'm going to put it onto Flathub eventually, for now grab the flatpak from the Releases page and install manually. Let me know what you think. Contributions and improvement suggestions are very welcome! Get Stencil on its Codeberg repo: https://codeberg.org/fouquet/Stencil

For many years, I’ve been using Debian
but installing Ubuntu
for others, fearing that Debian was too geek.
I spent hours "desenshitificating" Ubuntu.
After the Nth failed upgrade, I reconsidered.
Oh boy!
The Debian 13 GNOME live image is clean, polished, easy and perfect ! Install was a breeze, even with complex partitions. I only added a couple of gnome-shell extensions : dash2dock and desktop-icons.
Debian just works like I dreamed it should 25 years ago! Thanks Debian!
How good is #Debian 13 #trixie for #blind users now? Esp. non-geeks? I need to install a PC for a #visuallyImpaired person and wonder, if I should go for #Gnome or something else?
